Three Rivers Federal Credit Union Privacy Policy

Three Rivers Federal Credit Union will not provide, sell or share your nonpublic personal information to any non-affiliated third party for independent use. We share member information only in one of the following circumstances: you authorize it, you have requested a transaction/service requiring it; we are reporting your information to a credit reporting agency; or we are required or permitted by law to do so. If you terminate your membership with Three Rivers Federal Credit Union, we will not share information we have collected except as permitted or required by law.

This disclosure is made on behalf of Three Rivers Federal Credit Union and its affiliate, Service First Financial, LLC. The Privacy Policy applies to individuals only. We reserve the right to change the policy as needed.

Information We Collect

We collect nonpublic information about you from the following sources:

• Information we receive from membership and loan applications and other forms;
• Information about transactions with us or others;
• Information from a consumer reporting agency;
• Information obtained when verifying the information provided on an application or other forms, such as from current or past employers; other institutions where your financial transactions are conducted;
• Specialized firms that obtain demographic and household information (we only collect this information for internal use and do not disclose it to anyone.)

Three Rivers Federal Credit Union safeguards your nonpublic personal information according to established security standards. We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Three Rivers may share this information with our affiliate - Service First Financial, LLC.

We will share this information as permitted by applicable law and enable our affiliates and their employees to use any nonpublic personal information we may provide them only for that intended purpose.

By law, financial institutions are permitted to share customer information with outside companies and other third parties only in these limited circumstances:

Service Providers – Three Rivers may use outside companies or suppliers to perform services for us, such as check orders, printing, preparing and mailing statements, etc. We may also use outside companies to perform research. We may provide these companies with member contact information, such as name, address, and telephone number. We may also use outside companies to assist us in marketing our own products and services. We generally may provide them with member contact information, such as name, address and telephone number.
In any case, before we disclose member information to any of our providers, we require them to agree to keep our member information confidential and secure and to use it only as authorized by us.

Joint Marketers – In order to offer our members products like insurance, we may enter into joint marketing agreements with select companies specializing in the products our members may need. Generally, we provide them with member contact information, such as name, address and telephone number. We require them to agree to keep our member information confidential and use it only as authorized by us.


Non-Financial Companies – Three Rivers does not share your nonpublic personal information with third-party marketers. We may use your personal information ourselves, among other things, to offer our own or third-party products and services that we think you may find of interest. If you receive an offer from a third party marketer about a non-financial product, the non-financial company did not receive nonpublic personal information from us.


Other Circumstances – Three Rivers also shares your information with nonaffiliated third parties when you specifically request it or give us permission to do so. In certain other circumstances, we are required to disclose information, including nonpublic personal information, such as to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or criminal activity; to credit union attorneys, accountants, and auditors; to and from consumer reporting agencies; or to comply with applicable legal requirements.
