We’ve put together a list of FAQs to help you understand the reasoning and impact of this decision and to help you find alternate ways to continue doing business with 3Rivers.

Why are the in-store branches closing?

The in-store branches have seen declining transactions as member preference shifts toward online and mobile channels.The in-store branches offer a limited service experience to members, without dedicated space for mortgages and business services. As 3Rivers grows, we are committed to offering a full-service experience to all of our members. Additionally, with the completion of the East State Village branch, there will be neighboring full-service 3Rivers branches within 3 miles of all existing in-store branches. 

What happens to the 3Rivers Team Members at the in-store branches?

All employees will be retained and assigned to other 3Rivers locations. 

What are alternate ways I can continue to do business with 3Rivers?

We offer a variety of options that allow our members to do their banking without having to visit a physical branch. 3Rivers offers free electronic banking using Online Account Access, Bill Pay, Mobile Access on 3Rivers Mobile App with Mobile Check Deposit, as well as direct deposit with most employers.  We also participate in a nationwide network of surcharge-free ATMs and you can use your 3Rivers debit card to draw from your 3Rivers accounts from virtually anywhere.

What about the ATMs?

As part of our agreement, we have entered into a lease that will enable us to keep the ATM locations at each of the in-store branches.

3Rivers remains a sound and secure institution for all of your money matters. This decision was made in an effort to serve our membership in the most efficient and fiscally responsible manner possible.
