Important Notice (6/8/2018)
In the upcoming weeks, 3Rivers will be enhancing the Oversight Advantage service to ensure the overdraft service is personalized to meet each checking accountholder’s needs. After this change, your account overdraft limit will be evaluated daily and we will strive to pay these transactions based upon your ability to repay an overdraft event. Factors that influence the daily limit amount include; how long the account has been open, the amount of deposits, and the frequency of your deposits. Please note that the decision to pay an item will continue to be at our discretion. This service will continue to be provided to accountholders with the expectation that a deposit will be made immediately to cover any overdraft balances. Additionally, 3Rivers will be offering overdraft protection transfer capability from your 3Rivers Mastercard in the near future.
Oversight Advantage is a discretionary service provided to eligible accounts to cover accidental overdrafts. If you inadvertently overdraw your account, we have the discretion to cover your overdrafts up to a set limit as outlined in our Master Agreement.
This service prevents the embarrassment of declined ATM or debit card transactions, the inconvenience of a check or ACH item being returned, and the fees charged to you by merchants for returned items.
As a benefit of your 3Rivers membership, Oversight Advantage is automatically available for checks and ACH transactions. We only approve and pay overdrafts for ATM and everyday debit card transactions if you ask us to.*
*For business accounts, Oversight Advantage automatically includes coverage of overdrafts for ATM and everyday debit card transactions.
|Transactions Covered with Oversight Advantage||Standard Coverage (No action required)||Extended Coverage (Your consent required)*|
|ACH - Auto Debits||X||X|
|Recurring Debit Card Payments||X||X|
|Online Bill Pay Items||X||X|
|Everyday Debit Card Purchases||X*|
* If you choose Extended Coverage, ATM withdrawals and everyday debit card transactions will be included with the transactions listed under Standard Coverage. If you have previously requested Extended Oversight Advantage coverage, it is not necessary to request it again. Business accounts automatically have Extended Coverage.
Additionally, you can request that your overdrafts be covered first by available funds in another account or an established line of credit. You can also have Oversight Advantage removed completely. To set up a transfer option or have Oversight Advantage removed from your account, please contact us at 800-825-3641 option 1.
How can I sign up?

Please review the following important information:
Once authorized, your account will be charged the standard overdraft fee of $33.00 for each item that is paid by the discretionary Oversight Advantage. This is the same or lower fee than we charge for items drawn against insufficient available funds and returned to the payee.
3Rivers uses your available balance when determining whether a transaction will cause your account to overdraw and for charging overdraft and NSF fees. For additional information on your account balance, how transactions are posted, and debit card holds, please review the following resources:

3Rivers has the discretion to pay your overdrafts but is not obligated to do so. We may withdraw or reduce the amount of this privilege at any time. An overdrawn balance must be repaid within 35 days or your Oversight Advantage limit may be removed.
3Rivers ordinarily will not pay an item above the Oversight Advantage limit and may return items if you do not maintain your account in good standing by bringing your account to a positive balance within every thirty-five (35) day period for a minimum of one business day, if you default on any loan or other obligation to 3Rivers or if your account is subject to any legal or administrative order or levy.
Fees charged for covering overdrafts, as well as the amount of the overdraft item, will be subtracted from this Oversight Advantage amount as items are paid. It may be possible that your account will become overdrawn in excess of the Oversight Advantage amount as a result of the assessment of a fee. Balances at an ATM or other point of inquiry will not include the Oversight Advantage limit; however, items may be paid in excess of the balance provided.
Transactions may not be processed in the order in which they occurred and the order in which transactions are received and processed may impact the total amount of fees assessed.
This service is offered as an additional benefit of doing business with 3Rivers. It is our pleasure to make this courtesy available to you as a means of expressing our appreciation for the confidence you have placed in 3Rivers by entrusting us with your financial relationship.
Please be aware that this notice does not constitute either a written agreement of an obligation or a prearranged agreement for 3Rivers to pay your overdrafts and we may withdraw this privilege at any time. Payment of any overdrafts will continue to be at the discretion of 3Rivers and payment of an overdraft does not obligate us or create an agreement or course of dealing on our part to allow overdrafts on any occasion. Oversight Advantage is not a line of credit.
