Debit Card & Credit Card Fraud Protection & Security

As the transition to EMV chipped cards continues, you may have noticed more merchants than usual asking you to enter your PIN for purchases after inserting your card.

Merchants have the power to choose how EMV cards are run and, should they decide to require a PIN, shoppers must enter it in order for a transaction to be completed. While not all merchants currently require this, it will become more and more common in the coming weeks and months as an added layer of security.

If you do not remember your PIN for your 3Rivers debit card, or have not yet set one up, call the number on the back of your card (1.800.472.3272) and follow the activation prompts.
